Rwanda is located in the heart of Africa, just south of the equator. The Indian Ocean is 1270 km away, the Atlantic Ocean is 2000km away... No ocean view, anywhere. A real estate agent’s nightmare? What about the resell value of properties? Well, the concept of real estate agent does not exist around here and people will most likely live in the same house all their life anyway.
No ocean views, but... Around where I live, most houses have spectacular views of surrounding hills. We are talking about 360 degrees outlook for a lot of homes, as a lot of them are built right on top of a small hill. Rugerero Primary school is built on a hill. I can see it from my home, also built on top of a hill.
Around here, the concept of ‘location, location, location’ does not even need to exist...
